AngPow Graphic Design
This was an AngPow Design Competition orchestrated by Jaya Grocer, exclusively tailored for art students of Taylor's University. Within this contest, we were granted the freedom to unleash our creativity and talents in conceiving a distinct Ang Pow packet design for the 2023 Lunar New Year, adhering to the evocative theme of "togetherness."

1. Group Discussion:
Collaborating with my two groupmates, we engaged in dynamic discussions and brainstorming sessions to conceptualize our AngPow design. In a nod to the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac for 2023, we decided upon a distinctive character fusion: a Lion Dance Rabbit, seamlessly merging the charm of a cartoon rabbit with the vibrancy of a Lion Dance.
2. Character Design:
The design process unfolded as we allocated tasks equitably among us. While I undertook the creation of the Lion Dance Rabbit's head, my fellow group members concentrated on crafting its body and refining its head and ears. Their adjustments aimed to infuse the character with a dynamic and fluffy aesthetic, enhancing the essence of my initial design.

3. AngPow Design:
With our main character element in place, our collective attention shifted to crafting the AngPow itself. This phase encompassed discussions on strategic character placement, font selection, and overall layout considerations. Our collaborative efforts yielded three distinct designs.

4. Final artwork:
Upon submission, we received the gratifying news from our lecturer that our design had been chosen. Following this, we made slight refinements as per feedback from the Jaya Grocer representative in charge, culminating in the realization of our final artwork.
